Background
YOUth Hired! aims to provide young job-seekers with greater exposure to the rapidly evolving job landscape, emerging career pathways, and workforce expectations through sharing sessions with professionals from diverse sectors, including engineering, entrepreneurship, healthcare, legal, and technology.
Objectives
Through this initiative, we hope to:
- Help youths gain greater clarity about career opportunities across the five sectors;
- Increase awareness of workplace competencies and employability skills valued by different industries; and
- Strengthen youths’ ability to articulate their skills and experiences, particularly in CV writing and personal branding.
Round-Robin Career Talks
Include a field that allows participants to choose 4 out of 5 interested industry experts to hear from
1. Engineering
2. Entrepreneurship
3. Healthcare
4. Legal
5. Technology
CV Consultation
Include first-come-first-serve time slot booking for CV consultation. Participant who has booked a slot should bring their CV along
- Open 12 slots (no fixed timing - to be confirmed nearer to the date)
Audience: Job-seekers aged 17 to 35 years old
