⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTE
- Please select a category based on your child's Date of Birth.
- Cross-age participation is allowed. Participants may only register in a higher age category. For example, if a child is 5.8 years old on race day, they may register in the 5-year-old category, the 6-year-old category, or both. For riders celebrating their birthday in October, you may remain in your current age category and do not need to move up to the next age group.
- Organiser has the right to stop accepting registration should any category reaches its max capacity of 24 per category. You will be notified on a later date of the confirmed categories after registration closes.

🪽 Fly Together – Parent & Child Relay 🪽 

A fun parent-child relay designed to bring families together and create a memorable race-day experience!
🏃 How It Works

🎟️ Step 1 – Expression of Interest
This form is for Expression of Interest only, to help us estimate the number of families interested in joining the relay.

📝 Step 2 – Registration on Race Day
On race day, interested families can register at the registration counter when collecting their race tag and goodie bag. Please provide the parent’s name, child’s name, and race tag number, and place your entry into the designated draw box.

🎲 Step 3 – Random Draw
Participants will be selected by random draw on race day from the registered entries. Only selected parent-child teams will take part in the relay.

🏃 Parent’s Turn: The parent carries the child’s balance bike and runs 1 lap.
🪽 Child’s Turn: The parent hands over the bike, and the child rides 1 lap to complete the relay!
🏆 Top 3 Teams: The first three teams to finish will receive a small prize.
🎁 Special Keepsake: Every participating parent will receive a special keepsake to remember the moment.

Race Rules

1. Start Rules
- At the start, all individuals except the riders must stand behind the designated line behind the start gate.
- Unless permitted by staff due to special circumstances such as a fall, no one may touch the rider from the start signal until they cross the finish line.
- To avoid disturbing other riders, please remain silent from the moment the start signal begins until the start gate put down. Do not shout at the riders.
- As illustrated in the image below, the front wheel (below and in front) and rear wheel (below) must maintain contact with the start board from the moment the start signal sounds until the board moves. (For the 3-4 age group, leniency will be given with verbal guidance.)

 

2. Correct Starting Position:
✅ Three-point contact with the start board
🚫 No backward pulling or assisted push-off
🚫 No lifting the bike early
🚫 No lifting the rear-wheel early

 

3. No-Cross Line Rule:
- A no-cross line zone of at least 2 meters is marked in front of the start gate.
- After the race starts, riders must ensure that no part of their tires crosses this line within the restricted zone. (For the 2-3 age group, leniency will be given with verbal guidance.)

 

4. Dangerous Riding on the Track:
- Riders must not intentionally grab, kick, or collide with competitors on the track.

Wings Up Challenge

⏰ Time: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM

 

REGISTRATION DETAILS
- Guardians must accurately provide the child's personal information.
- The organizer reserves the right to cancel participation in case of fraudulent information.
- Guardians must present the child's IC/Passport during registration.

 

PUSHBIKE SPECIFICATIONS:
- Balance bike with 12 inch tires.
- Handlebar width must not exceed 45cm.
- No sharp parts that may cause injury.
- The bike must be well-maintained.

 

PARTICIPANT SAFETY:
- All participants must wear a helmet, elbow guard,knee guard, shoes, and gloves. 
- Failure to comply with safety regulations will result in disqualification.

 

SAFETY RESPONSIBILITY:
- The safety and supervision of riders are the responsibility of their parents/guardians.
- Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring that their child follows the safety instructions and event rules.
- The organiser will provide basic first aid/medical assistance for minor injuries during the event.
- By registering, parents/guardians acknowledge the inherent risks of participating in the event and give consent for their child to take part.

 

JUDGES' DECISION:
- All rulings made by the judges are final and cannot be appealed.
- Protests will only be considered with valid evidence.

 

PHOTO & VIDEO CONSENT:
- Photos and videos may be taken during the event for event documentation and promotional purposes.
- By registering, parents/guardians consent to the use of photos/videos featuring themselves and/or their child on the organiser’s social media and promotional materials.

 

PAYMENT & CANCELLATION:
- Registration fees are non-refundable if a participant withdraws.
- Seperate registration for different race categories
- The organizer reserves the right to postpone the event if necessary.

By registering for and participating in this event, you hereby consent to interview(s), photography, audio recording, video recording and its/their release, publication, exhibition, or reproduction to be used for news, web casts, promotional purposes, telecasts, advertising, inclusion on web sites, or for any other such purpose(s) that the Sengkang West YN or the People's Association (“PA”), its vendors, partners, affiliates and/or representatives deem fit for its use. You also hereby agree to release Sengkang West YN and the PA, its officers and employees, and each and all persons involved from any liability connected with the taking, recording, digitising, or publication of interviews, photographs, computer images, video and/or or sound recordings.

In addition, this event will be monitored for unauthorised recording. By attending the event or entering the event premises, you agree not to make any photo, video or audio recordings or digitise any parts of the event and/or event presentation. If you attempt to use a recording device, you hereby agree to your immediate removal from the premises and forfeiture of any such recording device in consequence.
