Explore the rich heritage, vibrant culture, and stunning craftsmanship of the Peranakan community at one of Singapore’s most fascinating museums. From intricate beadwork and ceramics to beautifully curated exhibits, this self-guided tour is a great experience for history lovers, culture enthusiasts, and anyone looking for a unique day out!
Date: Saturday, 25 July 2026
Time: 10.30am - 3.30pm
Fee: $5 per pax (two-way transportation and snacks are provided)
Itinerary:
• 10.30am: Gather at Toa Payoh West CC for registration
• 10.45am: Bus Departure from CC
• 11.15am: Arrival at Peranakan Museum
• 11.30am to 1.30pm: Self-Guided Tour
• 1.30pm: Departure from Peranakan Museum
• 1.45pm: Arrival at Golden Mile Food Centre for lunch at own expense
• 3.15pm: Bus Departure from Food Centre and returns to CC
Participants are encouraged to bring a jacket as it may be cold in the galleries.
Participants are to bring their NRIC/SingPass for verification purposes.
Museum etiquette is to be observed within the museum premises.
