    • The Tropica

    • Waterview

    • Q Bay Residences

    • The Santorini

    • The Tapestry

    • The Alps Residences

    • Parc Central Residences

    • Arc @Tampines

  • Proof of Residence: Residential eligibility will be verified using the address listed on the participant’s NRIC or official documentation.

  • National Bowlers: National bowlers are strictly not allowed to participate, as determined by the Singapore Bowling Federation (SBF).

  • Estate Quota: Each condominium estate is limited to a maximum of two (2) teams. Additional registrations will be rejected due to tournament format constraints.

3. Team Composition

  • Mixed Team Event: Each team must consist of five (5) participants, including at least one (1) female bowler.

  • Age Limit: There are no age restrictions for participation.

4. Handicaps

Handicaps will be awarded based on the following categories:

Category Handicap Allowance
Boys & Girls U12 +18 pins
Boys & Girls Aged 13–16 +8 pins
Ladies (All ages) +12 pins
Seniors (Age 51 and above) +1 pin for every year above age 50

Calculation Examples:

  • Girl U12: 18 (U12) + 12 (Ladies) = +30 pins

  • Senior Man (55 years old): 55 – 50 = +5 pins

  • Senior Lady (55 years old): (55 – 50) + 12 (Ladies) = +17 pins

5. Format of Play

  • Fielding: Teams must field five (5) bowlers (inclusive of at least 1 female bowler) on match day.

  • Games & Duration: Each bowler will bowl a maximum of three (3) games or up to the 3-hour time limit, whichever comes first. Games played after the time limit will not count.

  • Scoring: The highest total pinfall across 3 games within the 3-hour limit will determine the top three winning teams and individual high game series winners.

  • Lane Assignment: All games will be bowled on a pair of lanes, with teams alternating between assigned lanes.

  • Score Alterations: Once recorded, scores cannot be changed unless an obvious calculation error occurred, which must be rectified immediately by a Tournament Official.

6. Injuries & Substitutions

  • Injuries: If a bowler is injured during a game, their score will stand as recorded up to the point of injury.

  • Female Bowler Injury Exception: If the injured participant is the team’s only female bowler, a blind score of 100 pinfalls (or their actual score at injury, whichever is higher) will apply for that game and subsequent games. Handicaps do NOT apply to blind scores.

  • Substitutions: No substitutions are permitted once play begins. Remaining team members may continue bowling and remain eligible for individual awards.

7. Bowling on Wrong Lanes

  • If the lead-off bowler bowls on the wrong lane and the error is noticed before the next bowler rolls, a dead ball will be called, and the bowler will re-bowl on the correct lane.

  • If multiple bowlers have bowled on the wrong lane, the current game will proceed without adjustments, and the subsequent game will start on the correct lane.

8. Tie-Breaker

  • In the event of a tie, the team with the highest single-game score (inclusive of handicaps) will be declared the winner.

  • If a tie persists, the second-highest single-game score will be compared, continuing sequentially until the tie is broken.

9. Reporting & Verification

  • Identification: Bowlers must bring valid identification (NRIC, Passport, Student Pass with NRIC, or Driver's License) for verification before matches begin. Failure to produce valid ID will result in disqualification.

  • Line-up Submission: The Team Captain or designated representative must submit the team line-up sheet to the Tournament Official at least 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start time.

  • Official Timekeeper: The clock inside the bowling center serves as the official timepiece.

10. Walkovers

  • Teams will concede a walkover if they fail to register and be present by the scheduled start time.

  • A match walkover will be automatically declared if a team fails to field five (5) bowlers or lacks at least one (1) female bowler.

  • Organisers reserve the right to evaluate walkover circumstances under special conditions using blind scores.

11. Disqualification

  • Teams may be disqualified for fielding ineligible bowlers or engaging in unruly conduct.

  • The Organisers reserve the right to disqualify teams/bowlers and issue disciplinary actions, including temporary bans from future tournaments.
