Meet-up point: Tampines Changkat CC Foyer (Level 1)
- Participants will receive a Bento Meal (Halal) after event
- 2-way transportation provided to and fro from Tampines Changkat CC. Bus will depart from Tampines Changkat CC at 1.30pm sharp.
- Learn how general waste is converted into electricity through the Waste-to-Energy process.
- Discover how incineration helps extend the lifespan of Semakau Landfill while meeting strict environmental standards.
- Understand how reducing waste, recycling correctly, and making sustainable choices support Singapore's Waste-to-Energy system.
- Minimum age requirement for participant is 12 years old and accompanied by adults.
- All participants must wear covered shoes and long trousers. Loose clothing, long accessories and open footwear such as slippers or sandals are not permitted.
- Participants are required to present identification at registration.
- The tour route may involve stairs, grated platforms, elevated walkways and outdoor areas subject to heat, noise and odours. Participants should consider their own health and comfort before registering.
- Participants must follow the instructions of guides and plant staff, keep within marked walkways and observation points, and must not touch any equipment or controls.
- Photography and videography are NOT allowed in all areas of the plant.
