🚶 The Walk

Kick off your morning at Pasir Ris Elias Community Club at 7.30am for a 5km brisk walk through the community, ending at the beautiful City Sprouts in Punggol. A wonderful way to bond with your neighbours while soaking in the National Day spirit! 🌟

🎉 Programme at City Sprouts (9am – 10.30am)

• 🎤 Joined by DPM Gan, Minister Indranee, and our Grassroots Advisers from Punggol and Pasir Ris- Changi
• 🎸 Live band performance
• 🎵 Mass sing-along of your favourite National Day songs
• 🙏 Recitation of the National Pledge and singing of the National Anthem

🚌 Getting Home

Buses are available from Riviera Station A bus stop to bring you home to either Punggol or Pasir Ris Bus Interchange.

 

1. Am I able to cycle, use PMDs or kick scooters?
Ans: This is a brisk walk event, and cycling, PMDs or kick scooters are strongly discourgaed due to safety and pedestrain path usage.

2. Could I bring my family member who is on a wheelchair?
Ans: Unfortunately this would be discouraged as some parts of the route is not wheelchair friendly.

3. If I need a walking aid, am I still able to take part?
Ans: As the route from Pasir Ris Elias CC to City Sprouts at Punggol is 5km long and will go throough uneven and narrow paths, we would discourage participants who require walking aids from taking part due
        to safety concerns.   

4. If I do not wish to take the shuttle bus back from City Sprouts Punggol is it possible?
Ans: Yes. Buses are catered for participants who might wish to return to Pasir Ris interchange after the event or else it is free and easy.

5. Is there an age limit to take part?
Ans: No age limit is involved. As long as you are physically able to walk 5km participation is most welcomed.
