GENERAL RULES AND REGULATION

Objectives:
  • Encourage and introduce table tennis to youth
  • Promoting table tennis

Team Registration:
  1. Each team shall consist of a minimum of 4 players & maximum of 5 players
  2. Team registered first comes first serve only
  3. Team managers and officials will be allowed to play only if they are also registered as players
  4. Each player may represent only one category and team 
  5. No changes of player after the zoom draw
Team Categories:Open mixed team event (U11 & U15) Total 40 to 48 teams
Players Eligibility:All nationalities                                                           
Registration Fee:$80 per team
Registration Closing Date:1 August 2026, Saturday

Tournament Rules:
  1. The tournament shall be held in accordance with the general rules and regulations of the international table tennis federation (ITTF)

          The TIBHAR ITTF approved 3-star 40_mm white balls shall be used during the tournament. The order of play shall be as follows:
 
  1. 1st single
  2. Doubles
  3. 2nd single
       (Order of play shall not be changed during the match)

        The system of play shall be as follows:
 
  1. No repetitive player allowed
  2. Best of 3 matches (for 1 doubles and 2 singles)
  3. Best of 3 games of 11points each for qualifying  & quarter finals rounds
  4. 2 competition stages:
  • The 1st and 2nd placed in each group will be qualified for the 2nd stage)
  • Round stages & quarter finals (best of 3 games of 11 points)
  • Semis final and final (best of 5 games of 11 point)
 
  1. Umpires shall be provided throughout the tournament
 
  1. All participating teams must report at least 25 minutes before scheduled time of game otherwise the team may be disqualified.
 
  1. All players are required to bring along their identity cards or documentary evidence for verification if required.
 
  1. The attire of players shall be t-shirt (or short-sleeved shirt), no white t-shirt, shorts and with approved sports shoes.
 
  1. After the competition has commenced, no changes of players shall be made.
 
  1. The presiding tournament official from organizing committee will act as the final onsite authority for interpretation of applicable tournament rules and regulations, code of conduct and rules of table tennis for all matters arising that seek immediate resolution at tournament site.
 
  1. The tournament organizer reserves the right to disqualify teams and/or players at its discretion.

Protests:
All protests shall be made in writing, duly signed by the team manager or sports liaison officer and shall be lodged with the tournament official on duty at the venue. A protest fee of sgd$100 must accompany each protest. In the event of the protest being dismissed, the fee will be forfeited.  Protest in respect of eligibility and/or playing rules must be made before the commencement of any game.  No protest will be entertained after the prize presentation. The decision of the tournament committee shall be final and no correspondence will be entertained

Supplementary Rules:
Any matter which is not expressly provided for in any of the rules governing this tournament and/or all interpretation of the above rules shall be decided by the organizing committee. The decision of the organizing committee shall be final.

Participant should also consent to the recording of his/her voice, image and likeness captured by any means including cameras/telephones/mobile devices while present in, at or about the tournament and the transmission of these images/voices in perpetuity by the tournament organizer free of charge, by any means and waives all moral and legal rights in and to any recordings of sound made or images taken within the tournament venue.

1. The Organiser reserves the right to cancel the event under any circumstances which would make the event non-viable. If so, registrants will be informed via SMS. 
2. Assembly venue may be subject to change in the case of insufficient members.
4. By registering to participate in a People's Associate (“PA”) event where photography, video and audio recordings may occur. By registering for and participating in this event, you hereby consent to interview(s), photography, audio recording, video recording and its/their release, publication, exhibition, or reproduction to be used for news, web casts, promotional purposes, telecasts, advertising, inclusion on web sites, or for any other such purpose(s) that the People's Association (“PA”), its vendors, partners, affiliates and/or representatives deem fit for its use. You also hereby agree to release PA, its officers and employees, and each and all persons involved from any liability connected with the taking, recording, digitising, or publication of interviews, photographs, computer images, video and/or or sound recordings. By entering the Sengkang Central CSN's / PA’s event premises, you also agree to waive all rights that you may have to any claims for payment or royalties in connection with any exhibition, streaming, webcasting, televising, or other publication of these recorded materials, regardless of the purpose or sponsoring of such exhibiting, broadcasting, webcasting, or other publication irrespective of whether a fee for admission or sponsorship is charged. You also waive any right to inspect or approve any photo(s), video(s), or audio recording(s) taken by PA or the person or entity designated to do so by PA. In addition, this event will be monitored for unauthorised recording. By attending the event or entering the event premises, you agree not to make any photo, video or audio recordings or digitise any parts of the event and/or event presentation. If you attempt to use a recording device, you hereby agree to your immediate removal from the premises and forfeiture of any such recording device in consequence.
