PAddle Out, Jiak In: Weekend Escape

Escape the usual weekend routine with a refreshing day of paddling, connection, and good food!
Join us for a guided kayaking expedition as we paddle beyond our usual waters to the SAF Yacht Club — a paddling destination not ordinarily accessible to the public. This event organised by the PAssion Wave Outreach Committee @ North West event offers you an unforgettable day on the water, capped off with a well-deserved lunch by the sea at SAF Yacht Club before leisurely paddling back to Sembawang.

No kayaking experience? No problem. Participants will be paired on double sit-on-top kayaks, making this adventure suitable for all ages and fitness levels. Our certified kayak trainers will be with you every stroke of the way, from the pre-paddle safety briefing to the full 3km journey each way.
After working up an appetite on the water, sit back and enjoy lunch at Gem by the Sea, a Halal-certified restaurant nestled within SAF Yacht Club, with a beautiful view of the sea. Then, fuel up and paddle your way back to PWSB — a truly satisfying end to a memorable day.
Whether you're a seasoned paddler or a first timer, this is your weekend escape. Come paddle out, and jiak in!

Terms & Conditions:
Participants must be between 10 to 74 years old (by birth year). Children aged 10 to 12 must be accompanied by a parents or guardian aged 21 and above.
Participant must be water confident while wearing a personal flotation device
Participant must wear sports attire and covered footwear
Participants will be paired on double sit-on-top kayaks throughout the expedition

Refund/Reschedule:
There will be no refund or reschedule if the participant is unable to attend the event. In the event of Cat 1 weather, a standby bus service will be arranged to transport participants to and from SAF Yacht Club, ensuring the event proceeds as planned.

Cost:
Event ticket: $10 per pax (inclusive of lunch at Gem by the Sea, SAF Yacht Club)
