Lights by the Lake 2026
A signature annual event at Jurong Lake Gardens, Lights by the Lake celebrates the Mid-Autumn Festival with dazzling lantern displays, cultural showcases, and music performances.
This year, in collaboration with NParks, PAssion Wave @ Jurong Lake Gardens is excited to bring you hands-on try-out activities where you can create and bring home your very own festive keepsakes.
Here are the activities that PAssion Wave is offering:
Chinese Calligraphy Try-Out
Celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival with the timeless art of Chinese calligraphy! Learn to write beautiful characters guided by tradition and try it out for yourself. At the end of the session, the trainer will also prepare a personalised calligraphy artwork for you to bring home, a meaningful keepsake of the season.

Clay Lantern Keychain Craft
Celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival by crafting your very own Clay Lantern Keychain! Inspired by the warmth and togetherness of the festival, participants will use cheerful shades of yellow, orange and blue to create a charming lantern keychain to bring home as a keepsake.

Art of Zentangle
Unwind and get creative with the Art of Zentangle, an easy-to-learn and relaxing method of drawing using simple, structured patterns. In this 30-minute guided session, participants will create Mid-Autumn Festival-inspired designs. No art experience is required, making it suitable for everyone.

⏱ 30-minute sessions:
• Session 1: 3.00pm – 3.30pm
• Session 2: 3.30pm – 4.00pm
• Session 3: 4.00pm – 4.30pm
