Competition Theme

Celebrate Singapore's rich culinary heritage by creating a sweet or savoury dish inspired by our local flavours, with pandan as the featured ingredient.

Eligibility

• Open exclusively to female residents of Punggol West

• Participants must be 18 years old and above

Competition Requirements

• Prepare a sweet or savoury dish inspired by Singapore's local flavours

• Pandan leaves required to be used to prepare the dish

• The entire dish must be prepared on-site. No pre-prepared or pre-cooked ingredients are permitted.

• Complete all cooking and plating within the allocated competition time (1 hour 15 minutes),

• Present the completed dish and briefly describe the dish and share the inspiration behind the creation with the judging panel.

Important To Note

• Pandan leaves would be provided by the Organiser. Particpants are required to bring all other ingredients, garnishes and their own specialised cooking tools or equipment required.

• Each participant would have an individual cooking station with an induction stove, sink and preparation countertop to use to prepare the dish.

• Shared cooking equipment includes pots, pans, saucepans, mixing bowls, knives, chopping boards, steamer, blender, baking trays, built-in oven and other common kitchen utensils (The list is not exhaustive).

• The culinary studio and all cooking equipment are NOT Halal-Certified.

• Participants are expected to maintain good food hygiene and clean their assigned cooking station after use.

• Tickets sold are non-refundable. 

• Participants who are unable to take part in the competition due to unforseen circumstances are responsible for finding a suitable replacement and notfiy the Organiser by 30 July 2026, 12pm.

• The Organiser reserves the right to amend the competition format or rules where necessary.
