Join the Naval Base Youth Network for a relaxing and hands-on Matcha & Hojicha Appreciation Workshop, conducted by Qing Wu!

Whether you're a matcha enthusiast or just starting your tea journey, this workshop is the perfect opportunity to learn something new, meet fellow youths and discover the art of Japanese-inspired tea preparation!

• Session 1: 2.00pm – 4.00pm

• Session 2: 4.00pm – 6.00pm

• Workshop Duration: 1.5 hours per session

🌿 Discover the World of Matcha & Hojicha – Learn about their origins, unique flavour profiles, different tea grades and what makes each tea special.

🥄 Master the Art of Matcha Making – Get familiar with traditional matcha tools, including the bamboo whisk, bowl and sifter. Learn the techniques to achieve that perfectly smooth and frothy matcha!

🍵 Make Your Own Matcha Latte – Put your skills to the test as you whisk and prepare your very own matcha latte, guided by an experienced instructor.

🤎 Create Your Own Hojicha Latte – Explore the rich, roasted flavours of hojicha as you prepare your second drink and discover how it differs from matcha.

🎯 Fun Quiz & Prizes – Test your newfound tea knowledge in a mini quiz, with prizes for top scorers!
