The Violinist 沧海琴声 is a Singapore animated historical drama that follows Fei and Kai, two childhood friends and gifted violinists whose lives are changed by the Japanese invasion of Malaya in 1941. As Kai joins the resistance and disappears, Fei embarks on a lifelong journey to find him while pursuing her own path as a celebrated musician.

Winner of the Cristal Award for Best Feature Film and the SACEM Award for Best Original Soundtrack at the 2026 Annecy International Animation Film Festival, The Violinist made history as the first Singapore-produced animated feature to receive Annecy's highest honour, marking a significant milestone for Singapore animation.
