Event Description
Rules & Regulations
Objectives:
1. Promote traditional and contemporary styles of Japanese drumming
2. Improve drumming skills and explore new dimensions such as incorporating other culturally unique musical forms, composing and creating music.
3. Provide opportunities for greater multi-cultural awareness through performances and exchange programs.
4. Motivate and encourage members towards performing on stage
Applications
Persons wishing to be a member must have completed 6-month basic and 6 month intermediate courses conducted by in-house volunteer trainer as at date of application. Application must be submmited using prescribled from Kampong Chai Chee Community Club Daiko (KCC Daiko) together with on passport size photo.
This is a Performing Team (not like any other interest group) heavily subsidized and supported extensively by Kampong Chai Chee Community Club Management Committee(KCC CCMC) and persons wishing to be a member should not have conflict of interest i.e belong to other taiko groups or organisation with the same interest. KCC CCMC Daiko reserves the right to reject any application without assigning any reasons whatsoever. KCC Daiko and KCC CCMC reserve the right to terminate any members who do not cooperate, comply or conform with the team or team leader's directives. In such instances, no refund on fees will be given. All decisions made by KCC Daiko and KCC CCMC will be final.
Fee:
The annual membership is $110.00 with validity of PAssion Card. Fee is inclusive of GST and subject to revision by KCC CCMC. Anuual membership fee to be paid not later than first week of January of each year. Membership will be revoked if renewal is not made punctually. Pro-rating of fees does not apply
