Jurong Green CC IAEC

Eligibility
  1. Singaporean /PR 
  2. Only those living in Jurong East - Bukit Batok GRC & Jurong Central SMC
  3. At least 16 years of age and above as at the date of registration.
CategoriesParticipants may register for more than one category:
a.    Youth solo:     16-25 years old 
b.    Adult Solo:     26 years old and above
c.    Duet:              Male/female, male/male, or female/female.
* Note: Only Tamil cinematic songs (non-devotional) are permitted for all categories of the competition. 
Registration Fees
 		a.    The registration fees is $20 per person per category. 
b.    For the Duet category, the registration fee is $30 per duet pair. 
c.    Interested participants must register by scanning the official QR code and completing the online registration form. 
d.    Participants registering for more than one category must submit separate registrations and payment for each category. 

Upon successful registration: 
⦁    Participants are required to attend an audition. 
⦁    Audition date: Saturday, 27 June 2026, from 10 am – 3pm. 
⦁    Participants are required to bring their own minus tracks for the audition. 
Selection of Finalists and Rehearsalsa.    Based on the audition, the panel of judges appointed by the Organising Committee will select 10 finalists for each category. 
b.    The Grand Finals will be held on Saturday, 22 August 2026, from 4.00 pm to 10.00 pm.
c.    During the Finals, contestants will perform with a live band. The use of minus-one tracks or karaoke recordings will not be permitted. 
d.     Finalists must submit their song selections to the Organising Committee immediately after the audition (maximum 2 songs)
e.    All finalists are required to attend a minimum of two scheduled rehearsals, 
f.    The Organising Committee reserves the right to disqualify any contestant who fails to comply with the competition rules and regulations. 
g.    All songs performed during the competition, rehearsals and Finals, must beTamil cinematic songs (non-devotional). Songs in any other language will not be accepted and may result in disqualification at the discretion of the Organising Committee.
Judges for the finalsThe Committee will appoint qualified judges for the finals. The judges decision will be final. 

 
Judging Criteriaa.    Contestants will be assessed based on:
  •     Vocal Quality
  •     Rhythm and Timing
  •     Expression and Interpretation
  •     Song Selection
  •     Stage Presence
b.    Scoring Breakdown:
  • Judges' Scores – 70%
  • Audience Voting – 30%
c.    Audience voting will be conducted via a QR code system during the Finals. 
Prizes / Trophies  The prizes for the different categories are as follows: 
a.    Youth Solo         
  1. Champion:  Trophy + $300 cash 
  2. 1st Runner-Up: Trophy + $200 cash 
  3. 2nd-Runner-Up: Trophy + $100 cash             
 b.    Adult Solo      
  1. Champion:  Trophy + $300 cash 
  2. 1st Runner-Up: Trophy + $200 cash     
  3. 2nd-Runner-Up: Trophy + $100 cash     
 c.    Duets Category    
  1. -    Champion:  Trophy x 2 + $600 cash - to be shared) 
  2.      1st Runner-Up: Trophy + $400 cash 
  3.      2nd-Runner-Up: Trophy + $200 cash  
*Trophies and Certificates will be given to all finalists. 
Grand Finals Ticket Show The Grand Finals will be a ticketed event.
Ticket Price: $10 per person (Inclusive of buffet dinner)
Family members and supporters of the contestants are encouraged to reserve tickets early to avoid disappointment.
GeneralThe Organising Committee reserves the right to amend, vary, or modify any of the rules, regulations, programme schedule, judging criteria, or prizes without prior notice.
