Every piece at our annual show this year chases a different kind of light โ whether moonlight in ๐๐๐ ๐๐ค๐ค๐ฃ'๐จ ๐๐๐๐ก๐๐๐ฉ๐๐ค๐ฃ (ไบๆณๆ ๆ), blistering sun in the saxophone ensemble ๐๐ช๐ฃ๐๐ช๐ง๐ฃ๐ฉ, gold in Whitacre's ๐๐ช๐ญ ๐ผ๐ช๐ง๐ช๐ข๐ฆ๐ช๐, divine light and triumph in Alfred Reed's ๐๐ง๐๐๐จ๐ ๐ ๐๐ง๐ช๐จ๐๐ก๐๐ข, or sunlight breaking through the clouds after the loss and chaos of the human world, in Hokoyama's ๐๐ฅ๐๐ง๐๐ฉ๐ช๐๐ก ๐๐ก๐๐ฃ๐๐ฉ ๐.
Our first half opens with radiant ensembles โ percussion, clarinets, reeds, saxophones โ before the full band takes the stage ๐ต!
