Fun Hike to Pulau Ubin – Chek Jawa Wetlands

Join us for a refreshing morning hike through the scenic landscapes of Pulau Ubin and discover the natural beauty of Chek Jawa Wetlands. Enjoy a leisurely trek through one of Singapore's richest natural habitats while connecting with fellow residents and embracing the great outdoors.

Date: Sunday, 20 September 2026
Time: 7.30am – 1.00pm
Fee: $8 per participant (includes breakfast and two-way transportation, including bus transfer and return bumboat rides to Pulau Ubin).

Programme

• 7.30am – Meet at McDonald's Marine Cove for breakfast
• 8.00am – Depart for Changi Point Ferry Terminal
• 8.45am – Begin hike to Chek Jawa Wetlands and Visitor Centre
• 12.00pm – Return to Changi Point Ferry Terminal
• 12.30pm – Bus departs for Marine Crescent Ville RN (Blk 34 Marine Crescent)
• 1.00pm – Arrive at Marine Crescent Ville RN and end of outing

Please note:

• The hike covers approximately 8km and will take around 3 hours, including short rest stops.
• Participants are advised to wear comfortable sports attire and covered walking shoes, and to bring sufficient drinking water, sun protection, and insect repellent.
• Participants may wish to bring along cash, as some shops and stalls on Pulau Ubin may accept cash only.
• This hike is not recommended for individuals with mobility difficulties, families with baby prams, children below 6 years old, or those with low stamina, as parts of the trail are long, rocky, and unpaved.
