Event Description

Escape, Explore, Experience @St John's Island
Sunday, 22 November 2026 to Monday, 23 November 2026
8:00AM - 2:00PM


Fees: $25 per participant (Register
as a family of 2 to 4 persons)

Important Notes:

Online payment accepted by credit/debit card only. This is an exclusive arranged closed
  group activity. Hence NO REFUNDS for payments already made, unless due to low
  participantion and events cancelled.
- Fees will be the same for children and adult
- Minimum Age to particpate is 5 years old
- Children cannot be registered by themself
- At least 1 adult of age 21 above needs to be registered in the family of 2 to 4 persons
- Breakfast will be provided (You may bring your own extra food)

In the event of unforeseen circumstances or low participant, BCRN reserves the right to cancel or defer the events, and/or change venue, dates and fees. BCRN will take all reasonable efforts to notify participants of changes, should they happen.

TOILETRIES
Do bring all toiletries, towels and additional toilet paper for the duration of your stay.

MEDICAL
There is no medical facility or personnel on the island. Please bring your own first aid kit and medical supplies. For large groups, bring along a qualified first aider or paramedic. For emergencies, call 995 or 999. For non-emergencies, you may consider taking the scheduled ferries or engaging a private boat operator.

SLEEP
Otter (former CAMP 5) - Please bring your own sleeping bags to rest on the raised platforms as no bed/bedding is provided. You may want to bring a yoga mat or inflatable bed for added comfort.

Accommodations are furnished with basic cooking facilities;
  • Electric cooking hob, electric kettle, basic cooking utensils, no individual cutlery.
  • 2 shower blocks and 2 toilet blocks.
Mobile phone reception is weak or intermittent at some locations on the island.

Activity Description:
Exploration and relaxation at St. John’s Island. Spend your time and bound with family, friends and neighbours on these beautiful offshore gems, getting up close with marine life to camping out by the waters, here are some exciting things to do on St. John’s Island:
1) Explore the island’s flora and fauna
2) Spot marine life on an intertidal walk during low tide
3) Head to Bendera Bay for a glimpse into traditional island life
4) Stay the night at St. John Island’s Chalets
5) Hang out on Lazarus Beach
BONUS: Get the best of both islands on two wheels



ITINERARY

Sunday, 22nd November 2026 (Day 1)
8:15 am - Gather at Bus stop in front of Blk 50 Telok Blangah Drive
8:25 am - Bus departs for Marine South Pier
8:45 am - Arrive at Marina South Pier (Ferry tickets will be issue by organiser)
9:00 am - Depart from Marina South Pier to St John’s Island
9:50 am - Arrived at St John’s Island 
(Transfer ferry to Sister’s Island)
10:00 amDepart to Sister’s Island
11:00 amArrived at Sister’s Island - free & easy (Explore, Picnic, Swimming, etc….)
12:50 pmGather at ferry point
1:00 pmDepart to St John’s Island
2:00 pm - Arrives at St John’s Island

    Explore the island’s flora & fauna – trial spans 2.8km)
3:00 pmCheck in to Otter Lodge (former Camp 2 & 3)
     Briefing, Clean-up (Free & Easy)
     *Spot marine life on an intertidal walk during low tide.
     *Visit Marine Laboratory - about 1 hour walk up hill.
     *Swim at the Lazarus Beach or picnic on grass patch behind the beach.
     *Scout for Insta-worthy spots (Photo-taking spot)
     *Fish at one of Singapore’s best fishing spots
     *Get the best of both islands on two wheels
      (Bring your own bike (at no extra cost), or rent one for a day)
     *Island exploration (Free & Easy)
6:00 pm - Wash-Up & Dinner or BBQ (self-managed)
8:00 pm - Star Gazing / Camp Fire / Free & Easy                
10:00 pm - Lights out

Monday, 23rd November 2026 (Day 2)
6:30 am - Catch the Sunrise
8:00 am - Wash-up / Breakfast (issued by organiser/self-managed)
9:00 am - Free & Easy
12:00 pm - Lunch (Self-managed lunch)
2:00 pm - Wash-up and Pack-up
2:30 pm - Check-out of Turtle Lodge

2:45 pm - Group gather at Ferry Point and depart from St John’s Island
4:15 pm - Arrives Marina South Pier and Gather at lobby for group photo-taking
4:30 pm - Depart back to Telok Blangah Drive

5:00 pm - Home Sweet Home
