Event Description
STANDARD FIRST AID CERTIFICATION COURSE (SFA)
This course teaches participants how to identify and handle injuries, apply appropriate bandages on wounds/injuries, how to manage fractures, sprains, burns and insect bites as well as CPR/AED.
There is a theory and practical certification test.
SFA blended learning
For Day 1, participants will go through online-based learning (available for from 11 July 2026 onwards
For Day 2, participants will attend training at the physical venue (on 18 July 2026) that will include the theory and practical tests.
-For Grassroots Leaders & Active CERTs Members
- Aged 14 years old and above
- Participants need to be physically fit as the physical test requires 180 compressions done in 120 seconds while kneeling for the CPR/AED portion.
- Pregnant ladies are not allowed to attend.
- Certificate of Qualification for SFA and CPR/AED of 2 Years from date of passing the course
- Those attending SFA need not attend CPR&AED class separately as the certification is covered. Participants will receive 2 certifications (SFA and CPR&AED).
Residents must be present for registration by 9:15am.
