Mr Tang Yuen Wai has an avid appreciation for all music genres for over 30 years. Currently, he is the conductor of various schools and associations in Singapore. Under his tutelage, the bands had achieved gold medals in Singapore Youth Festival as well as in competitions in Asia Pacific. In addition, his bands had been invited to performances and overseas exchange programmes. Mr Tang is the Vice Chairman of Tiong Bahru Art Centre. He is actively involved in promoting and building Singapore's harmonica scene and musical activities on the communal level.
