
Shirris believes true strength encompasses both physical capability and mindful movement, helping people build resilient bodies and calm minds through a combination of therapeutic yoga styles and functional fitness. Her journey began in dance fitness, where she often felt burnt out despite chasing perfection, until she discovered how yoga and fitness could work together synergistically—yoga providing the mobility and mental clarity she was missing, while fitness offered the power and discipline she craved. Shirris now teaches to show others that they don't need to choose between being strong and being still, offering classes that are energetic yet grounded, technical but accessible, with the goal of helping students leave feeling taller, stronger, and more centred than when they arrived.
