An inspiring and motivational person with proven interpersonal skills and the ability and passion to deliver the vision of the spirit of Aikido. Able to push performance improvement whilst at the same time delivers awesome results.
Achievements
• Attained 5th Dan from Aikido World Headquarters, Aikikai Foundation, Japan in 2024
• Attained 4th Dan from Aikido World Headquarters, Aikikai Foundation, Japan in 2018
• Attained 3rd Dan from Aikido World Headquarters, Aikikai Foundation, Japan in 2014
• Conducted many training sessions in community clubs and private centres that nurture students of various age groups between 5 – 59 years of different backgrounds and nationalities. Rina has successfully trained a few very outstanding students to Dan grade and are currently assisting in training.
• Lead demonstration in family community and sports events.
• Organise annual social events for Aikido students to foster rapport between various clubs.
Background/Experiences
• Started practising Aikido in Dec 2000
• Progress from a student to Assistant in the period 2003-2006
• Appointed as an Instructor since 2007 and has 16 years of experience conducting classes for both adults and children.
Exposure
• Attended numerous seminars locally and overseas and trained with renowned Aikido trainers and practitioners.
• Attended Taichi classes to blend with Aikido skills to achieve a higher level of understanding.
