Metropolitan Young Men’s Christian Association Singapore was incorporated in 1947. The company is registered with Registrar of Society on 4 February 1963, gazetted as a Charity and recognised as an Institute of Public Character. Metropolitan YMCA (MYMCA) previously known as the Chinese YMCA, leads positive community transformation with a special focus on children and youths. Our activities include physical and continuing education, youth and community outreach programmes. We also provide hospitality services such as hostel and apartment accommodation, food and beverage services including conference facilities as support services. MYMCA is a member of the National Council of Social Services, a corporate member of the People's Association, an associate member of the National Youth Council, the National Volunteer & Philanthropy Centre, and the National Council of Churches in Singapore. Internationally, MYMCA is part of the World Alliance of YMCAs, Asia and Pacific Alliance of YMCAs, as well as an active member of the YMCA World Urban Network.
