In response to Singapore Government’s Smart Nation initiative, Empire Code (previously known as Coding Garage) was founded in 2016 to provide computer science (coding) classes in Singapore. They deliver coding lessons to children at schools and enrichment centres as part of an enrichment class and to adults as part of corporate skills improvement. Their founders have first-hand experience in training children as young as 5 to adults. Coding enables children to enhance their skills in structured thinking and creativity, which are integral skills for assimilating mathematical and scientific concepts
