Angelsstage Ballet Academy (“ABA”) was registered in January 2019 by Ms Herlinda Prilsilia Sutiono to promote and cultivate interest in ballet for girls from age 4 onwards. The vision of ABA is to guide aspiring ballet learners towards achieving high standards and techniques in ballet. ABA hopes to reach out to middle and lower-income families who wish to enrol their children for ballet dance at community centres (CCs).
Herlinda is a certified ballet trainer with more than 25 years’ experience and teaches a wide variety of dance levels under the Royal Academy of Dance (“RAD”) ranging from Pre School Dance to Advance Two under
the RAD syllabus.
As an operator, ABA hopes to leverage on apprentice trainers who are in the process of attaining the ballet teacher certificate. As mentor and key person at ABA, Herlinda will work closely with her apprentice(s) to
upgrade their knowledge and techniques in ballet. Such a collaboration creates a potential long-term career option in teaching ballet for the apprentice. ABA hopes that with younger trainers onboard, it is able to devote more resources towards grooming young dancers who have talent in ballet. As a start-up, ABS hopes to be a platform for young aspiring dancers to gain opportunity to perform and participate in both local and international dance competitions.
