AI Learning Lab was established in 2020 through a spin-off from AI Singapore as a social enterprise with the intention of introducing AI concepts to school students. Its founder, Mr. Darren Tan was formerly the Master trainer of AI Singapore for the AI for kids (AI4K) programme and he has many years of experience in leading workshops for school students.
AI Learning Lab is the certified training partner of AI Singapore, which is a national AI programme launched by the National Research Foundation to anchor deep national capabilities in AI.
The interactive hands-on curriculum, which has been designed together with AI Singapore aims to guide the children to ultimately develop their own AI-centric solutions. The programme will introduce AI basic concepts through a series of lessons and practical hands-on activities so as to foster their interest and increase their AI engagement which is aligned with Singapore Smart Nation’s initiative.
