Course Description
Yoga Therapy uses specific body movements, proper breathing and mental focus to enhance wellness. It helps by alleviating sufferings, boosting morale or raising the threshold of pain and endurance. Essentially, Yoga Therapy is the application of yoga practices to alleviate physical and mental health with the view of promoting self-care and encouraging overall well-being. A typical 1 hour class starts with fundamental movements like breathing and gentle stretching exercise to warm up the body. Followed by 40 minutes of specific yoga postures for the specific class theme, e,g shoulder, back, etc.
Requirements and Remarks:
Participants to bring along Yoga mat, 2 yoga blocks and 1 yoga belt. Please note there will be 20% administrative fees of the course fees for any refund request.
