Course Description
Yin & yang are terms of relatively. As Yin is a quiet practice targeting the bones and deep connective tissue esp. Ligaments, tendons and fascia, which are more stable and change only slowly by long holding time of 3 mins to 5 mins and the relaxation of body muscles.
While Yang which is most familiar to all, it is rhythmical and repetitive. It is about flowing from one posture to the next in connecting movements and is repeated for a few times on the same postures. It emphasizes on the use of strength and stamina and its results in muscular contraction and strengthens the joint. Therefore both are suitable for all levels of students & non practitioner of yoga.
Requirements and Remarks:
Participants are required to bring their own Yoga mat & props for this class and use these props after they learn the technique of applying them as part of their self-care regime. Note that props are essential to enhance your practice and prevent injuries and are encouraged not be shared for hygiene reasons. • 2x MYRing (L23.8 x B12.5 x H7.9 cm, 205g) • 1x 3mtr long yoga belt/strap If unsure, ask your trainer during the first lesson.
