Course Description
Wushu is a self-defence sport from China. The theory of wushu is based on classical Chinese philosophy while the skills consist of various forms of fighting. Wushu helps one strengthen and build up one's physique. Participants will learn the basic footwork or ''zan ma bu'', the techiques of delivering blows and kicks in an unarmed attack and the use of spear, sword and staff.
Requirements and Remarks:
Age requirement: 5 years and above (as of course commencement date) Uniform Set (shirt, pants & shoes) - $60.00 Own weapon apparatus will have to be purchased at more advanced levels. Additional fees for grading (inclusive of performance report & certificate) will vary across different grading levels.
