Yap Tay Soon graduated from NAFA with a Diploma in Western Art in 1977. He has been teaching Children at Boon Lay Art Centre since 1981. Tay Soon was awarded the PA STARS Trainer Award (Merit) for the Year 2015.

This course will teach the basic skills of drawing line, shape and perspective, texture, colour theory and composition. It also covers:
-  Practising on mixing different colour
-  Basic handling of art tools/ materials.
