Course Description
Be introduced to the Ukulele, a Hawaiian interpretation of a small guitar-like instrument originated in the 19th century. Learn how to strum chords, sing and play with the Ukulele. Students will also be taught how to read notes and eventually play solo pieces on the instrument. Tuning of the Ukulele will also be taught.
Requirements and Remarks:
For age 18 years old and above For age 18 years old and above Adults attending the Adult Ukulele class are required to bring a 23-inch concert ukulele. Those who do not have one may purchase it from the trainer. One-time materials fee (payable directly to the trainer): • 23" Concert Ukulele – S$42.00 (S$45.78 with GST) • Ukulele Materials – S$12.00 (S$13.08 with GST) • Total: S$54.00 (S$58.86 with GST) Adults who already own a 23-inch concert ukulele only need to purchase the ukulele materials.
