Course Description

Be introduced to the Ukulele, a Hawaiian interpretation of a small guitar-like instrument originated in the 19th century. Learn how to strum chords, sing and play with the Ukulele. Students will also be taught how to read notes and eventually play solo pieces on the instrument. Tuning of the Ukulele will also be taught.

Trainer: Daniel Purnomo Mobile: 94573151 _______________________________________________________________ *** _______________________________________________________________ Ukulele - Elementary Class This course is suitable for both new and beginners ukulele players. _______________________________________________________________ It aims to deepen the understanding of music essentials on the ukulele fingerboard and improve hearing skills. Throughout the course, students will learn how to read notes on the fingerboard, understand fingerboard tuning, and be introduced to major scale solfege. They will also gain knowledge of rhythm, chords, and how to recognize chord characters. In addition, the course covers simple strumming and plucking techniques, melody playing, and fitting chords to a song by ear. Finger exercises will also be included to improve dexterity. Students are required to bring a ukulele and a notebook.
