Course Description
The graceful world of ballet can now belong to your child from as young as 4 years of age. Baby Ballet takes the fundamentals of this classical dance form and introduces children to mime, expression and imaginative movement, while encouraging good posture while sitting and walking. Activate your little ones musicality and start your child on the unforgettable journey of dance!
Using a multi sensory approach, teaching methods employed include command (imitation), guided discovery and exploration styles. The ballet lesson is structured with a warm-up exercise at the start and cool down exercise at the end. Children will explore dance movements through interesting themes with suitable imagery, in a fun and enjoyable setting.
Requirements and Remarks:
Suitable for ages 3 years old. Students are required to wear standard ballet attire for uniformity and safety. New students may wear comfortable clothing (t-shirt and tights) for their first lesson. Uniforms can be purchased from the trainer. For uniformity and safety reasons, students are required to wear standardized ballet attire. Ballet uniforms can be purchased from the trainer after the first lesson. For their first class, new students may come in comfortable attire (e.g., t-shirt and tight pants).
