Tan Kee Guan is a very experienced Taichi enthusiast. He first learnt Taichi to improve his health and well-being and saw the benefits. He possesses great skills and knowledge in Taichi with strong foundation. He is passionate in sharing his knowledge and skills to his students. As a Taichi coach, Kee Guan is dedicated and committed to share his experience and training to build a strong Taichi foundation for his students. He encourages his students to enjoy Taichi and at the same time empower them with confidence to build up their self-esteem, resilience and commitment. Kee Guan is also confident, patient and inspirational. He stays relevant and constantly seeks to upgrade his skills through exchanges of knowledge and skills with other Taichi coaches and peers. He continues to attend training workshops and competitions (locally and regionally) to upskill himself.

Taijiquan, a creation of China's ancient past, is a traditional martial art and health-promoting exercise. There are many different styles of Taijiquan but all of them share a fundamental philosophy  -  the unification of internal energy (qi), continuous movement, centering, rooting and relaxed alertness, Apart from health benefits, Taijiquan enhances spiritual cultivation and equips the learner with self-defence knowledge.
