Henry Tan Kheng Juan is a very experienced taekwondo instructor and coach. He trains both kids and adults. He has many years of coaching experience in the sport (taekwondo). Henry gained his experiences through years of teaching kids and coaching university students( NUS), as well as preparing the students for grading (promotion) and competition (local and overseas). He has great passion in the sport and is always willing to help others. Henry is both friendly and helpful. He was an ex-national player who had represented Singapore in oversea competition, e.g Sea Games. He had won many medals in both local and overseas competitions. Henry is also a qualified Poomsae and Kyorugi Referee of Singapore Taekwondo Federation, and also a senior examiner in the federation.

Taekwondo originated in Korea. Often translated as the way of hand and foot, it is the art of kicking, punching and unarmed combat. Mental discipline and emotional equanimity are important elements of the martial art. Participants should also note that there are different schools or systems of taekwondo which operate under different rules and have their own grading examinations and competitions. There is no common system to allow automatic transfers or crossovers from one class under one system to a class under another.
