Course Description
Taekwondo originated in Korea. Often translated as the way of hand and foot, it is the art of kicking, punching and unarmed combat. Mental discipline and emotional equanimity are important elements of the martial art. Participants should also note that there are different schools or systems of taekwondo which operate under different rules and have their own grading examinations and competitions. There is no common system to allow automatic transfers or crossovers from one class under one system to a class under another.
Requirements and Remarks:
NO LESSON ON 9 AUGUST 2026 (PH) Participants are strongly encouraged to register before the class start date. Online registration will close 3 days before class start date. PLEASE NOTE: This class is suitable for beginners and students holding to white belt. 8 sessions Min age: 5 years old Min pax: 10 Max pax: 50 Material fee of $130 for uniform and kicking pad to be paid directly to the trainer. Venue will be subjected to availability. Class will be conducted in Level 4 Multi-Purpose Hall and Level 1 Atrium (In event, there is community event or activity in the hall) Trainer: Mr Yuen Participants are reminded to bring their own water bottle filled with plain water.
