Course Description
Taekwondo originated in Korea. Often translated as the way of hand and foot, it is the art of kicking, punching and unarmed combat. Mental discipline and emotional equanimity are important elements of the martial art. Participants should also note that there are different schools or systems of taekwondo which operate under different rules and have their own grading examinations and competitions. There is no common system to allow automatic transfers or crossovers from one class under one system to a class under another.
Requirements and Remarks:
1. Resting of at least a week after grading. 2. Uniform - $120.00 (To pay directly to Trainer) 3. Membership Fee $50.00 - (To pay directly to Trainer) 4. Grading Fees - To check with trainer and to pay directly to trainer 5. Min. age requirement to sign up is 5 years old as of birth year. 6. If parents with child/children below min. age requirement (5 years old) are interested to sign up, please contact Yishun Orchid RN at 8011 1355 to arrange for trainer's assessment for suitability. 7. After the assessment on suitability for child/children below min. age requirement (5 years old), if parents would like to proceed to sign up, refund is strictly disallowed.
