Course Description
Taekwondo originated in Korea. Often translated as the way of hand and foot, it is the art of kicking, punching and unarmed combat. Mental discipline and emotional equanimity are important elements of the martial art. Participants should also note that there are different schools or systems of taekwondo which operate under different rules and have their own grading examinations and competitions. There is no common system to allow automatic transfers or crossovers from one class under one system to a class under another.
Requirements and Remarks:
Please purchase your uniform directly from the trainer. Uniform costs can range from $95 up to $180, depending on the size and brand. *NO lesson on 22 Aug 2026 - trainer overseas NO lessons on Public Holidays (PH) Please ensure your contact numbers are up-to-date so we can contact you in the event of any class cancellation / postponement. Please note that NO refunds will be given once fees have been paid in partial/full except in case where the course/activity facility booking is cancelled or rescheduled as deemed necessary by the Committee or the People's Association.
