Lee Yan Peng is a Senior 5th Dan Black Belt and Master Instructor at Singapore Taekwon-Do Academy (STA). She has been training under Master Leonard Seow since 1985 and has been assisting Master Leonard Seow in various Training Clubs/Centres after she obtained her black belt in 1987. Yan Peng is very active in the Singapore Taekwon-Do Academy (STA) HQ where she trained under the alte founder of STA, Grandmaster B S Huan. She has assisted in many training centres like Yuhua Zone 4 RC, Jurong East View and Taman Jurong Zone D RC. She is also involved in organising STA’s local Taekwon-Do Tournaments and works with students with diverse ages and has received good feedback from both students and parents

Taekwondo originated in Korea. Often translated as the way of hand and foot, it is the art of kicking, punching and unarmed combat. Mental discipline and emotional equanimity are important elements of the martial art. Participants should also note that there are different schools or systems of taekwondo which operate under different rules and have their own grading examinations and competitions. There is no common system to allow automatic transfers or crossovers from one class under one system to a class under another.
