Course Description
Traditionally, books can only be published through publishers. However, in today’s internet age, it is possible to self-publish books online. Further, there are online platforms which enable book publishing for free. During the first part of this course, the channels in which books can be published in today’s market will be discussed. It then introduces online platforms that can publish printed books and ebooks free of charge. There will be live demonstrations on how a printed book and an ebook are published on these platforms. It will also show the books on Amazon that have been published through these platforms.
In order to promote published books, it is necessary to carry out book marketing. During the second part of this course, the channels in which books can be marketed will be discussed. It then introduces online platforms that can promote and market published books free of charge. These platforms can be used in conjunction with the platforms that books are sold.
