Course Description
The Japanese language uses three types of characters - Hiragana, Katakana and Kanji simultaneously. Participants will be taught how to read and write the Hiragana and Katakana characters, followed by basic sentence patterns and grammatical structures.
Requirements and Remarks:
This class will commence when there are 8 successful registrants. Registration (for SkillsFuture Basic Credit Users) • Register in person at the Pasir Ris East CC Counter, between 10:00 AM – 5:30 PM. • Last day for claim: 10 Jan 2027, 5:30 PM (or earlier if classes reach full capacity). • Registration Starts on 18 Nov 2026. • Bring your original NRIC/Digital IC and a mobile phone linked to Singpass. • For enquiries or to check available slots, please call before visiting. • Submit your SkillsFuture Credit claim at least 7 working days before the course starts to avoid cancellation. • For enquiries, call Pasir Ris East CC at 6584-2798 (10:00 AM – 6:00 PM). You may also receive a follow-up call from another landline. Class Commencement & Confirmation • Classes will commence once 8 participants have successfully registered. • A confirmation SMS will be sent. Please ensure your local mobile number is updated at www.onepa.gov.sg via Singpass. Important Reminders • Additional SFC (Mid-Career Support) is not applicable for SkillsFuture classes organized by CCs. • Incomplete claims or payments may result in cancellation of enrolment. • Online payments are not valid for SkillsFuture Credit claims. At trainer request, kindly note that this class minimum age to be 18 years and above. Pay $40 directly to trainer for material fees on the first day of class.
