Course Description
Situational-Communicative Approach will be adopted as the learner wants a communicative ability in the target language and wants it from the very day that he starts to learn. This approach is suitable for those attending crash courses of limited duration in a language of which they have no or little previous knowledge. There will be predictions of the situations in which the learner is likely to operate through the target language. Interactive teaching technique, including use of role plays, will be employed that would effect on the learners the self-confidence and feeling of usefulness in learning the Malay language.
Requirements and Remarks:
Participants for Stage 3 (Advanced Level) course must have reasonable proficiency in Malay Language and/or have completed Stage 2 / Intermediate Malay course or equivalent. The first 2 lessons will be a review of Stage 2 / Intermediate Level. * "Online" means students attend lessons via Zoom platform. Students will need to download the Zoom app to attend class online. ** 14 years old or above. *** Only soft copy of course material will be provided by trainer free of charge. **** To ensure that Only Registered Students are attending the course, students are required to turn on their video feature on Zoom while attending the course.. ***** Recording link for each lesson will be made available for two weeks for students to review and reinforce what they have learned. ****** Participants For Stage 3 (Advanced Level).
