Course Description
Acupuncture point massage is an important component in traditional Chinese medicine. Acupressure is an ancient healing art that uses the finger to press key point on the surface of the skin to stimulate the body's natural self-curative abilities. When these points are pressed, they release muscular tension and promote the circulation of blood and the body's life force to aid healing. In the workshop, participants will (1) understand of the fundamentals of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), (2) understand the structure of bones and muscles of the body, (3) adequate the Chinese massage techniques, (4) locate Acupuncture points and (5) learn to use Acupuncture point for treatment such as headache, insomnia, knee pain, shoulder tension, neck tension and pain etc.
