Rosnani was into martial arts (Silat) since the age of 9 years old. Her dad has introduced her to the sport as a child so that she can build up to the basic physical ability, motor skills , simple techniques, tactics and at the same time build up on her mental stability. With this Rosnani has built up her confidence and exposure for most performances and competitions. Rosnani is a bubbly person, easy to talk and she loves children and this has enabled her to communicate easily with others.

Silat is a traditional Malay martial art used for self-defence. Some forms of Silat employ native weapons, others lay emphasis on unarmed combat. The aspects of Silat emphasises self-defence, mental and spiritual discipline, the importance of traditions and its status as a sport. With a wide variety of defence and attacking techniques, practitioners may use hands, elbows, arms, legs, knees and feet in attack movements.
