Khaizuran Ahmad has started his Martial Arts journey in 1986 when he joined Kungfu and Karate. In 1988, he joined Pencak Silat and has continued to pursue it till today. He has since competed in many local and regional competition. In 1993, he became an assistant trainer and has led his team in many performances and competitions. He started his own Silat school in 2011 as a Head Trainer (Guru Utama) and has brought his atletes in many local and regional competitions. 

He started teaching Pencak Silat in schools and tertiaries as a program and CCA since 2007.He has also gained many International recognition for his contributions and work in Pencak Silat. He is also a tradiitonal trainer for Singapore Silat Federation.

Silat is a traditional Malay martial art used for self-defence. Some forms of Silat employ native weapons, others lay emphasis on unarmed combat. The aspects of Silat emphasises self-defence, mental and spiritual discipline, the importance of traditions and its status as a sport. With a wide variety of defence and attacking techniques, practitioners may use hands, elbows, arms, legs, knees and feet in attack movements.
