Course Description
Silat is a traditional Malay martial art used for self-defence. Some forms of Silat employ native weapons, others lay emphasis on unarmed combat. The aspects of Silat emphasises self-defence, mental and spiritual discipline, the importance of traditions and its status as a sport. With a wide variety of defence and attacking techniques, practitioners may use hands, elbows, arms, legs, knees and feet in attack movements.
Requirements and Remarks:
Attire $60 pay to trainer. Please take note that the classes are on 5, 12, 19, 26 August, 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 September, 7, 14, 21 October. Minimum age of student is 7 years old.
