Course Description
Silat is a traditional Malay martial art used for self-defence. Some forms of Silat employ native weapons, others lay emphasis on unarmed combat. The aspects of Silat emphasises self-defence, mental and spiritual discipline, the importance of traditions and its status as a sport. With a wide variety of defence and attacking techniques, practitioners may use hands, elbows, arms, legs, knees and feet in attack movements.
Requirements and Remarks:
Open to both genders aged 5 & above. Material fees: uniform can be purchased from the trainer directly. For more information, please call Tampines North CC @ 6783 2900. Class fee is to be paid before class commences.
