Course Description
What is Roblox?
Roblox is developed under an object-oriented programming system utilizing the programming language
Lua to manipulate the environment of the game. It is a game creation system that allows users to design
their own games using Roblox Studio and play a wide variety of different games created by other users.
Learning Outcomes
✔ Learn the basics of Roblox Terrain Tools
✔ Generate tool to create landscape
. ✔ Paint tool to enhance landscape with materials and water
✔ Create an interactive Roblox game
Students learn through hands-on Roblox project with instructor support
Requirements and Remarks:
For children age 7 years old to 12 years old only. - Participants are required to bring their own laptop, laptop charger and mouse for this class (i.e. must be fully charged). - Installation of Roblox software on laptop required before class commencement.
