Course Description
What is Roblox?
Roblox is developed under an object-oriented programming system utilizing the programming language
Lua to manipulate the environment of the game. It is a game creation system that allows users to design
their own games using Roblox Studio and play a wide variety of different games created by other users.
Learning Outcomes
✔ Learn the basics of Roblox Terrain Tools
✔ Generate tool to create landscape
. ✔ Paint tool to enhance landscape with materials and water
✔ Create an interactive Roblox game
Students learn through hands-on Roblox project with instructor support
Requirements and Remarks:
Age: 7-12 years old. Through this hands-on course, participants will learn how to use Roblox Studio’s terrain tools to create landscapes such as mountains, rivers, and islands. They will also be introduced to basic game design concepts and simple coding elements to bring their world to life. By the end of the session, each participant will have created their own unique terrain-based game environment.
