Course Description
What is Roblox?
Roblox is developed under an object-oriented programming system utilizing the programming language
Lua to manipulate the environment of the game. It is a game creation system that allows users to design
their own games using Roblox Studio and play a wide variety of different games created by other users.
Learning Outcomes
✔ Learn the basics of Roblox Terrain Tools
✔ Generate tool to create landscape
. ✔ Paint tool to enhance landscape with materials and water
✔ Create an interactive Roblox game
Students learn through hands-on Roblox project with instructor support
Requirements and Remarks:
Age: 7 years old to 12 years old Please ensure provide valid E-Mail address or contact number. Participants are required to bring their own laptop, laptop charger and mouse for this class (i.e. must be fully charged). Installation of Roblox software on laptop required before class commencement. No tablets and chromebook. Due to licensing restrictions, the software account provided is for class use only.
