Course Description

This workshop aims to stimulate the creativity of children 4-8 years old through relational and lateral thinking. It will help promote team spirit and enhance communication skills through brainstorming of ideas with fellow classmates.

Learn to explore more advanced techniques of sketching, oil pastels, still art using pencil, charcoal drawing, watercolour painting and collage. As kids work their way through the art, they progress beyond simply copying to graining real drawing skills and solid artistic technique. Plus, they will have lots of fun.
The lesson opens with essential information about drawing tools and materials followed by instruction on how to approach a drawing – such as building up forms with basic shapes, etc.
